Bolt and Uber do not operate in Tenerife and other Canarian Islands; however, there are taxis waiting outside of both airports: Tenerife South Airport (TFS) and Tenerife North Airport (TFN).

And finally, there are public buses that go to the south and the north of the island on both airports, just in front of the exit. You can pay for it to the driver on the bus, but keep in mind that they only accept euros and don’t accept credit cards.

Las Teresitas is an artificial beach in the capital – Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is a golden beach surrounded by trees and palms, so you can always find a shade to hide from the sun. There is a viewpoint up on the mountain from which you can take some stunning pictures.

Playa de Las Teresitas, beach Tenerife

The gourmet lovers can try their taste buds as Tenerife hosts five restaurants that have been awarded Michelin stars: NUB Restaurant, M.B. (Martín Berasategui), Abama Kabuki, Kazan, and Rincón de Juan Carlos.

If you want to try out local food, you should try one of the many Guachinches. NIGHTLIFE IN TENERIFE

Tenerife is great for nightlife lovers! The party center is in the Playa de Las Americas with the most popular club Papagayo and a beach club Monkey Beach; the latter, however, is only open in the summertime and has great parties on the weekends. Next to them, there is a strip full of little clubs called Veronicas. Even though the drinks are extremely cheap there, we would not recommend it as it is mostly full of teenagers.

If you are in Los Cristianos, you can find a lot of little bars and clubs in San Telmo. The two most popular clubs there are Punta Cana and Casablanca.

In Costa Adeje, you can find the most popular local club called Acheman.

And finally, if you are traveling during the summer, it is worth visiting the capital and checking out Terraza Isla De Mar.
