In our opinion, it is always better to book your hotel and flights separately, because it allows you to save money and choose the best hotel that meets all your needs! Check out the all-inclusive hotels we offer and search for the cheapest flights with your favorite airline. Not only will you save a lot of money, but you will also be able to choose the most comfortable flights and a perfect hotel.

However, if you want to book an all-inclusive holiday package, we would recommend choosing a reliable travel agency like Tui, First Choice, Thomas Cook, or Last Minute. They will take care of your flights and accommodation and will even organize transfers from the airport to your hotel.

Do you want to save some money but still have an amazing all-inclusive holiday? Well, we are here to help you! Booking a last-minute trip to Tenerife can be a little bit risky. You need to keep in mind that summer, Christmas, and Easter are the peak seasons in Tenerife. Not only do the prices go up, but also, the majority of the hotels get fully booked at this time!

The best chance to get a good deal for all-inclusive holidays in Tenerife is in May and June as these months are the least crowded and the weather is amazing. You can also try April and September they are a little bit busier but still not at their peak.

Almost all European airlines go to Tenerife, and you can find very cheap flights almost every day.

Our recommendation is to use SkyScanner to compare the prices of different airlines and to choose the best dates for your flights.

Worried about getting to your hotel from the airport?

Bolt and Uber do not operate in Tenerife and other Canarian Islands; however, there are taxis waiting outside of both airports: Tenerife South Airport (TFS) and Tenerife North Airport (TFN).

And finally, there are public buses that go to the south and the north of the island on both airports, just in front of the exit. You can pay for it to the driver on the bus, but keep in mind that they only accept euros and don’t accept credit cards.

If you are planning to rent a car, it’s best to pick it up and drop it off at the airport; this way, you will save on airport transfers!

Even though Tenerife is not that big, it has a lot of places to see and visit! Renting a car is a great idea if you want to access the most beautiful places on the island. It is possible to book excursions to the most popular places. However, there are some secret gems on the island that can only be reached by car!

Our recommendation is to use a price comparison website to find the best offers for car hire, you can try out

As we mentioned before, even though Tenerife is pretty small, it has a lot of things to offer.

First of all, there are loads of water activities and sports. You can take a boat trip to see whales and dolphins or even have a boat party with snacks and drinks! You can find surfing schools on almost every corner, and El Medano is heaven for people who like kiting, surfing, or paddling.

Mount Teide is the highest mountain in Spain, and it is also an active volcano surrounded by a breathtaking park. It is a must-see on your visit!

Masca is a small mountain village and is one of the most picturesque parts of Tenerife. There is a hiking trekking trail that goes through the valley and finishes on a small beach where you can take a boat and go to Los Gigantes – another place you must see.

Siam Park is a water park in Costa Adeje with a Siamese / Thailandese theme. It is the number one water park in the world according to people’s opinions on TripAdvisor.

Loro Park is a themed zoo in Puerto de la Cruz. It has a huge variety of different animals, they organize shows with sea lions, orcas, dolphins, exotic birds and more! It is also considered to be the number one zoo in the world according to TripAdvisor, just like Siam Park.

Tenerife is surrounded by beautiful beaches from all sides. It is a volcanic island, and therefore the natural local beaches in Tenerife have breathtaking black sand with rocks. However, the majority of the touristic beaches have golden sand, which was brought here from the Sahara desert.

Playa Benijo, beach Tenerife

Playa Benijo is a breathtaking wild and natural beach in the north of Tenerife in the area of the forest Anaga. This beach has black sand and huge rocks sticking out of the water. It is a perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass of cava. Even the road there has spectacular mountain views that will look gorgeous in your pictures.

Playa de Las Teresitas, beach Tenerife

Las Teresitas is an artificial beach in the capital – Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is a golden beach surrounded by trees and palms, so you can always find a shade to hide from the sun. There is a viewpoint up on the mountain from which you can take some stunning pictures.

Playa de Las Teresitas, beach Tenerife

Playa del Duque has the most crystal water on the whole island and is perfect if you want to feel the tropical spirit. It is located in the south of Tenerife in Costa Adeje. The beach has very comfortable sunbeds to rent and is perfect for a day of relaxation.

Other beautiful beaches include Playa Jardín, Playa de Los Cristianos, Playa de Las Vistas, Playa de Los Gigantes, Playa el Bollullo, Playa de Fañabé, Playa de Abama, and many more!

The gourmet lovers can try their taste buds as Tenerife hosts five restaurants that have been awarded Michelin stars: NUB Restaurant, M.B. (Martín Berasategui), Abama Kabuki, Kazan, and Rincón de Juan Carlos.

If you want to try out local food, you should try one of the many Guachinches. These rural type restaurants serve traditional food like Escaldón de Gofio (porridge of toasted grain flour), Papas Arrugadas con Mojo (famous Canarian potatoes with special sauce), Queso Asado (grilled cheese), Pimientos de Padrón (fried peppers), Chopitos (little fried octopuses), Croquetas and a variety of grilled meats and seafood.

Don´t forget to try Barraquito – a traditional coffee that can only be found in Tenerife.

Tenerife is great for nightlife lovers! The party center is in the Playa de Las Americas with the most popular club Papagayo and a beach club Monkey Beach; the latter, however, is only open in the summertime and has great parties on the weekends. Next to them, there is a strip full of little clubs called Veronicas. Even though the drinks are extremely cheap there, we would not recommend it as it is mostly full of teenagers.

If you are in Los Cristianos, you can find a lot of little bars and clubs in San Telmo. The two most popular clubs there are Punta Cana and Casablanca.

In Costa Adeje, you can find the most popular local club called Acheman.

And finally, if you are traveling during the summer, it is worth visiting the capital and checking out Terraza Isla De Mar.

You can find all the most popular brands in Tenerife, and the tourist places are full of shops.

There are two big shopping centers in Santa Cruz de Tenerife – El Meridiano and El Corte Inglés where you can find clothes, footwear, and makeup from different brands. The biggest shopping center in the south is Siam Mall. However, there are a lot of smaller shopping centers and streets.

Keep in mind that there is no VAT tax in the Canary Islands, and therefore, many brands are a lot cheaper. Perfumes are even cheaper than in Duty-Free, so don´t buy anything at the airport and visit one of the many Perfumerías.

The local currency is Euro, and you cannot pay in any other currency here, don´t forget to bring some Euros with you!

The time zone is GMT +0 (same as London time). Don´t forget to turn off automatic time zones on your phone because phones sometimes catch Spanish time (which is one hour later).

The local language is Spanish, and even though the majority of the people speak in English in the south, local people rarely understand English if you go to less touristic places.

The flight from London takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The biggest advantage of Tenerife is its weather! It is called the island of eternal spring because it never gets really hot and never gets too cold. Can you imagine spending some time on the beach on Christmas and then going up to Mount Teide to play with the snow? It is all possible in Tenerife!
